Hello. Please do elaborate as to how you succeeded here since I'm not able to get my IR remote to work with my Marquee. Thanx.

Are you talking about your "Marquee" IR remote or some other brand?

Hello

Before disconnecting from the projector, fire up the Marquee and push "STAR" and note the IR status of A, B , or OFF. If off, go into the Service Menu and activate IR.

If it is the better type with movable jumpers, pop off the battery door, unplug the cable if still connected, and set the jumpers to "DOWN DOWN DOWN UP"; this is Protocol A; install four AAs and you should be all set unless the IR is disabled in the projector.

For Protocol B, set all jumpers to DOWN

It is indeed the original marquee IR remote.

Like Tim says - you must FIRST use the tethered remote to ensure the IR is activated to protocol A or B, then untether and reset the remote jumpers per this document, and add batteries.

Was'nt there a thread or two for discreet power with marquees and URC remotes?
