I found this over on AVS in the Video Processors forum, but thought I'd re-broadcast it over here. It would appear that DVDO's new flagship VP (the VP50Pro) is going to allow the adjustment of the Primary Colors for (near) perfect GrayScale adjustments on any display.

Now, I'm not advocating DVDO necessarily, but this is a first, if it works as I read it. One of the deficiencies of FP CRT's is that we are stuck with the primary colors given off by the tubes themselves, though that can be helped some by using color corrected (or is it filtered?) lenses and/or colored C-elements.
