Lens Flapping On Barco 800?

On the Barco 800 what is the easiest way to do this? I don't see a flapping adjustment..

Am I just missing something Simple?


(yeah I know dumb question.. But I don't want to over think something I think should be simple.)

Ron,

the BD800 has no continuous Scheimphlug adjustment, so no, you're not missing anything obvious. If you need to adjust this, you'll have to install some shims.

You can calculate needed shim thickneses using Lens software.

Input projector (BD801s can be used for BD800), projection distance and angle you are using to software.
It gives Sheimpflug values to text sheet, then just ad shims under lenses like in picture.

That is good starting point to tweaking.

Cool that is what I thought..

Anybody have pictures of some sort of continuous adjustment they rigged up?


I have been searching and I know when I first starting learning this stuff I remember seeing something..
