All I want is smooth playback with VRM9 at 1080i and perhaps 960p...my current integrated 6150 stutters like hell, and this may be an inexpensive solution.
I also might like hardware acceleration of h264 and perhaps vc-1...

Is your PC PCIe or AGP?
I have two 6600GT AGP cards here.
i have a 8600GT in my new machine. I haven't tried yet.

I just picked up an 8500GT to try. They are on for $90 at Futureshop this weekend.
