TV/Projector: All of them!

I had to order a couple of parts from Sony the other day, so for funI inquired about service manuals on the Ruby and Pearl. They ARE available at $100 and $70 CDN respectively, and apparently have schematics in them. So most of me says that I'll never see one of those units in for service, a small inquizitive part of me says 'go for it', I'll see these sooner than later.

Whaddya think?

I say if you got the scratch, go for it.

I'd like nothing better than to pick up a busted Ruby for a couple hunny, and fix that boy. Use it for the wife's parties or ps3 w/ the kids in the congregation! Thumbs Up

If you can learn to align the panels on them you could make a fortune fixing all the factory defects that Sony considers "within spec".

I say no way.

Either it just needs a bulb or it's not worth fixing. (most likely the later.)
