Watched Norbit last night...
Characters were not likeable, the humour was atrocious, if I heard "How you doin' ?" one more time I would have lost the plot...
Total crap/waste of time.
1/10 Score.

Most movies with Will Ferrell in it. I loved him on SNL, but in movies (and SNL) he always plays the same guy over and over. The tall bumbling idjit. Watched most of Talledega Nights last night on HD, what a waste of 2 hours.

I concur. The only reason I sat through the whole thing is that it's such a chore to get everything ready and down to the theater, get the dogs settled in, warm up the pj, check conv and such before everyone gets there....<sigh> Just to watch Nerdbert get the fine babe....yeah THAT happens all the time to a guy without money. (Thinking Quentin Terantino)
It was one of those movies I actually ENCOURAGED talking while the movie was playing.

But look at the quote in the lower left-hand corner. It's "Hysterically Funny."
Also it depends on what format it's in. It's much funnier in HD-DVD than Blu-Ray.

You get a bad movie, a movie you don't like and are not enjoying. If you're like me, you watch it anyway. Because of the time and money invested in renting or buying it, you feel an obligation to suffer thru to the end.
That's why I don't rent anything before checking it out at Rotten Tomatoes: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/norbit/ . Hell, at 52, I don't have 2 hours of my life to simply throw away.

But my system sometimes fails me. This movie got great revues. My son, his wife and I only lasted about 45 before we had to turn it off and watch something else: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/descent/

Ultra frickin crap !!!!!!!!!
FX made with a Commodore 64, dialogue written like chinese instruction manual, acting... none.
ONLY redeeming feature was watching Milla's ass for like 4 seconds...
1/10

Lets see, I didn't like the acting, directing, dialog, story, cinematography, special effects...can you tell I didn't like it?
I'm not surprised it was on sale. It does have cool cover art, and that's the problem: If you're shopping for movies and don't know anything about them (which is much of the time), you don't have much to go on other than the cover art. There have been a lot of BAD movies with really cool covers, so bad selections are inevitable. That's why I check them out on Rotten Tomatoes first. I check out the new releases each week: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/videodvd/new_releases.php and the top rentals: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/videodvd/top_rentals.php . I no-if-ands-or-buts won't rent anything that got less than 60% positive revues, and most of the time I won't rent anything that's below 70%. I add my selections to my Blockbuster queue.

Eddie Murphy has more 100 million dollar movies than anyone in hollywood
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/people/chart/?id=eddiemurphy.htm
Lifetime Gross Total (33): $3,438,360,663
Average: $104,192,747
Opening Gross Average (32): $24,070,710 (Wide Releases Only)
I make no claim that they are good, but he brings in the cash

Rustler's Rhapsody.
It's so bad it's actually funny.
I own it
In VHS and DVD
Still bad.
Kind of like a train wreck. You want to look away but you just can't.
Anyone else seen it?
