There are 3 uses for olive oil.

1. Healthy eating.
2. Lays Popeye.
3. Raise the smoke point of butter.

I use #3.

Thanks for jogging the old memory. Perhaps we shouldn't limit it to nuts and just call it

4. Lubrication.

I have used EVOO for lubricating all sorts of sticky things.
