Moome over the years did take suggestions from others to tune his cards better. You'll see some of them mentioned (like Walter/WTS from our forum) on the order pages I created. I've never never heard of "EMC Design". They were definitely not a company anyone in CRT was talking about as there are zero hits in this forum when you search on their name.
Not sure they're still doing CRT. Look at the dates of the posts you linked to. Some are 15 years old.
I was doing some casual CRT projector scrolling and came across a Japanese company called EMC Design that's apparently still doing Sony VPH-G90 calibration and maintenance today.
Intrigued, I decided to look at their facebook and came across a post claiming they modify moome cards.
https://www.facebook.com/EMCdesign/posts/pfbid0kDERNSP23ea3bTfF9hY3PgyfBBd7ERaJ7RJ8CXxLnahWXbNHHVVUwFr6ukmNaCcNl
Then I came across this post on their blog claiming "we approached moome and had them produce an original IFB-FULLHD designed exclusively for EMC"
http://blog.emc-design.jp/2010/03/ifbfullhd_emcdesign.html
Then came across this post with a picture

Does anyone know anything about these? Is there anything actually unique or special about the EMC Design Moome edition cards or mods?
I thought this was an interesting post. The last link above shows you one of the moome IFB boards with copper shielding on the connector and obviously upgraded caps in gold color. All in the name of shielding and reduced ripple, etc, I would guess. Cool.
The EMC website in itself was interesting as their primary product seems to be an optimized power delivery system direct for the projector\audio\theater, etc. From what I can gather its newly wired off your main power panel directly, into their cables and then onto another sub control board of theirs, which then fans out to different new power outlets. They have different thickness of shielded cables, etc, they use from images on their site, which is probably matched to solve various electrical supply issues to clean stuff up. US\CA side here, I don't know of any company that is doing anything like this. They will even come to your house and setup a demo - wiring into your panel directly I am sure to split the power - of their gear powering your electronics. Cool!
