I happened to watch a good color rendering of "The Long Long trailer the other night on Tubi (and it was free of charge Very Happy). Its a Lucy/Dezi movie from long ago but somehow I never saw it until now. I have to say this film really got me laughing more than most comedy's, especially when she fell out of the trailer right into a mud puddle! Mr. Green Here is a low rez youtube showing her mud puddle gag right at the end: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qurmRsZbB6Y

Anyway I knew Lucy was known for being quite the comedian yet never got into watching her show mostly since that was even before my time. But I got to say some of her stuff makes me appreciate genius now. Long before Chevy Chase had made his debut.

A grad student I was helping at work a few weeks ago mentioned to me that her mom works at a comedy museum / luci-desi museum in NY that is funded by a Lucille Ball endowment. This is semi-on-my-way to my son's college and my wife and I hope to do a stop-over there on our way to pick him up sometime.

My mom used to talk all the time about the "infamous candy line" scene.

Good clean humor from another time.
