Hi all, this happened some months ago, just got back to it. The story is, I switched it on one night, no pic. either input, two different devices, two different feeds. Both showed 'no input' in green even though both devices were running. No error codes. A couple of nights later, all was well...for about two hours, then back to no pic. again while I was watching, it's been that way ever since. I've got a second 'rough' G70 which no longer runs, but good for parts. I temporarily swapped every board except the YA & YB boards, but nothing changed. So yesterday I swapped the YB board and the pic. came back, both inputs, but the convergence & geometry were all over the place of course. I set them up, now the geometry is OK, but the pic. is washed out, little contrast, even set to max. I adjusted the bias & gain settings to match those stored in the original dallas chip which improved things a little, but not a lot. I've tried the ABG on & off, again some improvement with it on, but not that much, still very washed out. If I stick the original YB back in, no pic. again, menus OK. Seems like the dallas chip is failing, or has failed, but I don't see how that could cause this fault. So at this point, I'm thinking I've got nothing to lose with most likely corrupted data in the original dallas chip being lost, so isn't there some way to wipe the chip and start again just to see what happens, and can I swap the dallas chips between the two YB boards? Thanks in advance.

P.S. I've solved the low contrast problem, but if anyone has any thoughts on the no pic/dallas chip, I'd appreciate it.
