Hello. I have replaced a red tube in my projector and was ready to mount it. When watching a movie still in table set up projector lost focus on green tube. There was no sound or any other event. It projected the picture and kept convergence but no focus on green. There is no error displayed. What can it be?
It is late now. I will try to reset some boards tomorrow. Any other ideas? Robert.

Hello. I replacesd focus board /left of red tube/ but it did not help. In service menu magnetic focus does not work. H and V focus is moving a picture but does not make it sharper. It throws a watchable picture but it is not sharp. Obviousely.
What to do? Replace a focus coil?
I have a second, working one for parts.
Robert.

That is the focus waveform generating board. It rarely fails. You need to change the focus output board that should be under the keypad.

Thank you for help. I am in Poland now and I do not have my all suport documentation here. Do I have to remove a keyboard to gain access to the board? I will try tomorrow to switch them. I have friends coming on Saturday to hang it and I hope to have it fixed till then. Please cbeck with me later. Robert.

It's been at least 10 years since I pulled one out, but yes, if I remember the keypad has to come out, as does a metal cover under it to expose the output board.
