I got a C7 produced in 2002, but after turning it on, the image jittered and I don't know why. I think some potentiometer needs to be adjusted, but I don't know how to do it. Thank you all!

I've never heard of a Barco C7. Do you have a link or more details?

Closest I can find are these Barco LED tiles: https://www.barco.com/en/support/c7

Ah, ok, so a Barco Cine 7 CRT projector.

Does it jitter when showing a signal? If there's no signal then (if I remember correctly) the image can / will jitter as it's trying to lock on to a signal.

Regardless of whether the signal is input or not, the image will jitter. I have a short video, but I can't upload it

Upload the video to one of the various free image/video hosting services (imgur, youtube, etc) and link to it.

Since we know very little about the video path you are using, here some easy things to check first, before you start tweaking pots or swapping boards:

Firstly, on a Cine 7, you have to configure port 2 to use S-video signals. With the video active, press ADJ on your IR remote, service menus, random access, selected source, picture tuning, port 2. Now, pressing enter each time, will let you toggle between Video an S-video. Make sure you choose S-video, and press ADJ again to go out of the menu. See if your image is jitter free now...

Secondly, maybe your line multiplier should be active. Press ADJ, random access, picture tuning (here you might set the sync to slow), line multiplier. Pressing enter will toggle between ON and OFF. Give it a try.

Why can’t you use any of the free video or file hosting services available on the internet? There are literally hundreds if not thousands available. Examples: YouTube, Imgur, Instagram, Vimeo, Twitch, Google Drive, Facebook, Twitter, etc. To name a few. If you have access to the internet as you do to be able to post here, you would have access to at least one of these free services.

Yup. I don't have anything to add however as to what the issue may be.

I've never seen that either. It looks like the H sync is temporarily failing, which could be a problem on the RGB input board or the deflection board.
I was hoping the picture would jump up and down, indicating a vertical problem, but that's not the case here.

If there is no signal input, the displayed image will show such jitter after starting up,

If the image is adjusted to a grid state, the picture would jump up and down。

When selecting a signal source on the remote (between key 2 and 4,with the input signal corresponding to 1080i for key 4), the machine hangs up and displays "SF" fault, deflection board issue, then there will be no any images
