Anyone know what kind of rechargeable batteries to use with the VP300? It is labeled Video Pro model and I want to use it for CRT signal testing. The batteries are totally dead and do not hold a charge. They labelled Japan DKH only and are AA in size. I want to say they are NiCad but not even sure on that.

I answered my own question. It was not in my manual but was on a revised online manual.
1500 ma/H rated rechargeable NiMH
