CIR Engineering

I've got two Lexicon LX-7 amps here that I just finished repairing and want to use the trigger, but I have no idea what this trigger plug's male terminator is called or what to look for. Does anyone know what it is and/or have a part number for it? It measures 12.35mm x 8.5mm on the outside (in case you can't see it in the pics.

I believe that's a 2-pin Phoenix / Euroblock connector.

And can I find it in Black or red. Green just doesn't seem right Laughing

They usually come in green. It's not uncommon to see HT or other equipment that's all black with the green connectors on the back. Wink

Yeah, the only difference I see is that the male and female on those have a small short flat bit after the rounded parts of the plugs. Mine is just rounded. Still could easily be it.

I need to order other parts, so I'll probably grab a couple at Mouser because they are cheaper there and I only need two.

I have to look at the specs a bit more to be sure.

Good point - there are probably different types/styles with some differences in how they can be locked. Not sure. It's been a long time since I've used or seen any. Good luck!

Those are commonly used for HTIB, in fact that's what we call them Home Theater In Box connectors. Hit a thrift store I bet you'll find a Samsung or LG all in one DVD/Bluray with speakers that use those.

My Lexicon MC12 has a small single block of these at the back for 12V amp triggers so I'd guess it's the same plug type on the LX7 as it's from the same era. Each plug is 5mm wide and I'd bet it's the female header one you linked to above.

Thanks! The measurements are helpful. The more I look the more I think Kal has the correct male terminator.
