Curt or others - I've had this Vision 1 for probably 4 years or so, that I got from Curt (you even helped me set it up, you may remember!).

It's recently started having issues where it will cut out after warming up for 20 or 30 minutes. The video below shows what it does.

The 2nd video below shows what it does after another 5 or so minutes, if you continue to leave it on (loses sync).

Any suggestions?

Pull out the CLM and HDM, and push down on all socketed IC chips. With the HDM, pull the daughter board off the main board, and reseat that a few times, and try again.

Thanks Curt. In looking at the LEDs on the CLM board at the rear of the projector, it's the "H fail" red led that lights up when it goes wonky.

I did figure out how to pull the HDM board out the bottom of the ceiling mounted projector, and remove the plastic screw from the daughter board, and then pull the daughter board off and reseat.

I haven't yet pulled the CLM board - I'm guessing that just pulls out the back of the projector, maybe? I'll try that, and reseating everything a few times.

After pulling just the HDM board, and its daughter board, and reinserting, I still have the same issue. I'll try to do that a few times, as you suggested, and also try to pull the CLM board.

Hello

You may have a failed HDM, I have some new ones here NIB. I also have a small mod for securing the HDM sleeve into the mother board:

https://www.curtpalme.com/forum_archived/viewtopic.php@t=42250.html

Bend a loop in the wire for the bottom screw and tighten into place. Run the wire to the
top screw and form a loop around it, tighten the screw and cut excess wire. This keeps
the sleeve from moving.

I can test here any boards you want to send me, I'm near Phoenix.

Thanks Tim and Curt for your help! I was able to pull both boards, and ran the projector a couple hours today with no problem. Fingers crossed that that may have fixed my problem. If not, I really appreciate knowing you have replacements Tim (and maybe Curt still does too, not sure)?
