Hi,

Normally, I would use the remote only. But once I made a presentation using my test machine and as I had forgotten all of the remotes, I did have to use a PC with the serial cable. I used the Marquee Control Program and it worked pretty well. So there shouldn’t be any problems as long as the settings are correct and if You use the right command codes.
The codes are described in the Tech Bulletins TB96-05 and TB97-01 available in the manuals section here.

Kind Regards

Thanks Barclay66,

when commands are sent via RS232, is the OSD visible?

the codes are known and sent to the programmer of the driver for controlling the Marquee
via the RTI system.

the feedback from the commands to the Marquee are needed for the RTI remote control to
sense if they have been executed.

Thanks

Guys

There is a setting somewhere in Preferences for turning OSD off, business presenters liked that.

Tim,

can't find it in my preferences menu.

I have following points:

1. Auto power Off
2. -
3. Blanking Time
4. Cannel Select
5. -
6. Programmable Events

Hello

Try UTILS, 5 is PREFS, 2 is Screen Messages ON/OFF

If I remember correctly, when Screen Messages are off and you want to see one, press Recall, Contrast for example, and it will be shown for that function one time.
