Hey,
I recently had a tube crack in my g90 due to thermal shock (will now be much more cautious during warmup procedures). I replaced the tube and upon firing the thing up, all the green test images are all rotated by 10-15 degrees (red and blue are fine). The test pattern appears rotated on the tube face itself, which makes me think I did not due a careful enough job when aligning the coils onto the new tube during the swap. There are multiple coil assemblies sitting on the tube, and they are all likely cockeye in different ways!
My question: Am I on the right track here? If so, what is the best/fastest/safest way to go about fixing this? Do I need to power off, discharge something, adjust blindly, power back on, rinse and repeat?

It sounds like the deflection yoke needs to be rotated. Is it tilted on the tube face too? Turn down the contrast and look in to see.

That was it! Is there a problem if the other parts of the assembly are also off kilter? I am noticing that my electronic focusing is way off - which I can fix by simply adjusting electronically, but I'm wondering if I should be making some mechanical adjustments first before diving in.

No, just rotate the yoke. You will need to do a full setup, as the characteristics of each tube is different, including geometry, focus and white balance.

You should have asked me. The deflection yoke has to be rotated for proper image alignment, and the other yokes all should be set up so that the screwdriver used to tighten down the clamps is vertical when engaging the screw.
Once the yokes are aligned like this, from here on in all adjustments are electronic.
Oh, BTW, your projector was formerly owned by Sylvester Stallone. Serial number ending in 717, right?
