Put them all together, and what do you get? Yep! Perfect 1080p60, directly from the Bluray player connected to the 1209s, through a Moome with a reprogrammed EDID utilizing a custom made 1209s timing... no more need for soldering eeproms... or buying a scaler!

I love the way we can pick up conversations month's later. This forum is great for that.

By the way how did you re-program the EDID? I have a 2005 DVI moome card for my Sony switcher. Can it be reprogrammed?

Yes and no.. i tried this, and you can change some things, add a block etc but it al has little or no effect on it's behaviour. With a little bit of luck the box might accept a resolution which it previously didn't, but there is no way to change the things we really want, like timings etc. For this, a dynamic scaler is needed. But it is fun to change the name of the box from Moome tot e.g. AnalogRocks Wink

check link about edid programming and software needed here : https://www.curtpalme.com/forum_archived/viewtopic.php@t=3914.html

Ahhh yes that's kinda neat. I was just wondering if you could re-program the EDID without having to change the chip.

Partially Wink you can change the standard first EDID info blocks, about 128 bytes, but the real stuff happens in the extended blocks, which are unaccesible.
