4k blend requires approx 125mhz per pj (backporch not included) and uses the entire tubeface (1664*1242) presuming we use a 15% blend zone.

anybody ever done this?

Couldn't you do it with 4 projectors with a 15% blend?

Each projector doing 2208x1242

stressing the pj too much to my liking, 6 would be the preferred way to go.

How much more would the bandwidth requirement be as compared to 1080p?
