My external Moome box sat plugged in but unused for over a year and now it won't display. If I hook it to a PC I can get a green light on that input, but if I try to attach a cable box it just blinks random red lights on that port. I have tried everything from mew cables to varying the inputs and while I can get a momentary screen flicker with a PC, I get nothing but bad sync messages on any other device. The proj is working fine, 9500 LC Ultra.

I also do not have the manual anymore so that would be a huge help.

Thanks

Got a voltmeter? Check your power supply to be sure it's putting out the right voltage.

That's step 1.

OK. I got a manual from Moome and I checked the power supply. I have 6.6v
What is step 2?

Thanks

Tried again with a variety of dip switch settings. If I plug in a PC via HDMI in, the port light turns solid green, indicating acceptance. If I plug the cable box or firestick in the lights continue to blink and not connect. If I am reading the manual right, dip witches 4 and 5 should be in the up position if you want to use input select, provided both inputs have active sources. I believe when it was working it had 1-4 in the down position and 5 in the up position. Is there a proper setting for output to VGA? 6.6v from the wall adapter, btw...

I believe these are supposed to be 5 volt arent they? I use to have one and I seem to remember my power was a Dlink 5 volt 2amp supply

Not on this one. The wall unit says 6v, it pulled 6.6v.

Are you measuring that with the transformer plugged into the unit, or with it just connected to the meter? If just connected to the meter, you're not getting an accurate reading, as you need to put a load on it while measuring the voltage.
