Hi,
I found a problem with one of the boards in the convergence tray.
When I use this tray, I get a distortion in the bottom of the picture, see attached.
Can you guys identify which one of the 3 cards in the tray is causing this problem?

Thanks,
Or

I had a problem like that on my 909 and it was a little cap on the convergence board. I checked the solder connections and repaired it.

I have lots of spare boards, my guess is that it is the convergence output board. Unplug the connectors between the output board and the smaller driver board to see if the problem goes away.

We unplugged the cables like Curt suggested.
The picture looks better (see attached).
Does this mean the output board is bad?

It can be either the driver board, sending out a bad signal to the output board, or a bad output board, reacting to a normal input signal. No way to tell except to change out the boards I'm afraid.
