I remember when I was a kid the local theatre would have free movies (2) on Wednesday afternoon for kids. It was a marketing deal as the parents would have to go to local businesses to obtain the free tickets. There was about a dozen or so movies that they ran year after year. One of them was Ben Hur. This was before multiplexes and the screen was huge. Ben hur always blew me away. I was amazed by how much better this movie was even though I didn't know why at the time. Now I know, I love 70mm !
