My setup is a Denon AVR 987 > DD-D12 > Lumagen HDP > RGB > Port3 (1209)

I had used a DD-D12 to strip HDCP and it died. The AVR 987 passes everything through HDCP AFAIK thus even the setup screen passes encrypted.

I am not sure if the current version of the DD-D12 still "fixes" the HDCP issue. Anyone know?

Does anyone know if Moome is still making the HD-MUX? I had a $20 deposit in on one in 2007 and never bought it.

Are there other solutions?

Hi,

Try a simple HDMI splitter. Most of them 'forget' HDCP on their outputs. There are threads about them somewhere here...

or search Google for "$25 stripper" ... ignore the images... 1st result should bring you to what you need.

Wow, long thread. As it turns out I have one allegedly coming to me that I got for $100. If it doesn't work I will start looking for the $25 stripper......

Actually it was fairly amazing how easy it seems to get a good stripper Wink Not too cheap but very satisfying.
