Ended up buying a 55" Samsung KS8000 tv for the bedroom, Found a very nice tv stand for it on Ebay.
My first flat panel tv.
Boy, What a sharp detailed picture. Colors are brilliant. Couldn't be happier with it. Got it for $900 on sale to.
