Do G90's and 9500's use the same stock tubes?

G90 uses the P19LPB type as the usual stock version, and 9500s use the P19LCP or P19LUG type depending on whether or not the PJ is meant for sim duty. Sim versions almost always come with LUGs.
In actuality you could run ANY of them in a G90 or a Marquee, or any other projector made for Panasonic spec tubes.
I'm not 100 percent sure about this but my understanding is that the LPB is in the middle, resolution-wise, between the LCP and LUG types.

Hello
These will not just drop into a G90, a mod to put G2 bias on the right pin may be in order. LUGs in a Marquee require such a mod.

Yeah, the tubes in my 9500 are better then the ones in my G90. I can only run one PJ at a time, so I though I would swap them.
What about 10PG tubes, any chance those will swap over? I have a set of those brand new.

Curt probably can give a definitive answer on that but my understanding is that the NEC machines are not compatible with Panasonic tube without heavy modification.
Even the tube neck diameter is different.

If the tube neck diameter is not the same, then that is getting into way too much for me. I was just hoping that the neck boards pin out might have to change.

9" tube neck diameters are all the same, but the pinouts change, as do the curves of the bell. G90 and 9500 tubes are NOT compatible with each other without CRT neck board mods. The NEC 10Pg tubes are unique AFAIK, and can't be used in any other set.
What tube(s) do you need Deron? I've got a bunch of lightly used tubes, although I'm pretty much out of greens that are decent at this point. R and B- no problem!

Curt, the green in the G90 is nice and tan, the red and blue are usable. I'm going to take that green in put it in with the whites and use extra bleach.

I have some green tubes, but with light windshield wiper wear out of simulators. Probably better than what you have. Email me, and I can shoot you some pix of what I have. Not perfect, but probably better than what you have, without going to new.
I do have a new LCP out of a Marquee for $700 USD, you'd have to mod the G2 pin on the PC board, simple to do, if you'd rather go that route.
