Hey guys,
I have bought two sets of 180DMB22's from tschalkaei, and I am currently preparing one set to go in a Barco 808S. I know that the G2 pin needs to be changed from 6 to 2, which I have already done in the neckboards. What I am wondering about is if the G2 on pin 6 can stay, or do I need to cut a trace to prevent that pin from being powered? It looks like the pin is not connected to anything in the tube, but I don't want to blow a tube by such a stupid mistake.
See images, not the best but it's taken with an iPhone 6.

Electrohome would put the unused pins to ground, to ground out internal tube arcing, which can happen. Iv'e used a few DMBs in Barcos, and have just done what you've done so far, without any issues.

Thanks Curt! Just swapped the tubes, no problems so far. Now for a full calibration..
@julian, I used the 'worst' tubes in this one. Looks like it works! Thanks again!
I'll upload some pictures soon.
