after I swop another SMPS, the red standby led work for 5 seconds and then went off again. Swop AC power board and no response. What else should I troubleshoot? Should I swop both AC power board and SMPS together instead?

Either you have a fault in both power supplies, or you have a short on the 5 volt standby supply rail. The only things powered by the standby power supply are the two IR receivers, one on the front, one on the back, the wired keypad (which can short occasionally) and the main controller board.
I would disconnect the keypad and both IR PC boards to see if the red standby LED comes on and stays on. if not, then send me the controller and SMPS and I will test them here.

Can a fault in the 5v power supply take out the SMPS n kill it permanently? Since the swop to another SMPS cause the standby led to lit up for 5 secs before going off again. All fuse are ok no short.

Usually no, the SMPS are self-protecting against shorts. If you have a second working 909 there, then try swapping out the tray with the controller board in it and see if the problem follows the tray.

Sorry, I don't give out that information, that's how I make my money and keep this site alive. Let me know if you want to send it in for repair.
