Hi all,

Years ago I had a 4300 then I managed to get a 4600HD which is better. However recently my green tube has given me problems and I have considered putting in the old tube from my 4300 which is in pretty good shape. However, the pinout seems to be different, where there are two pins in a small rectangular area of the 4600 tube connecting to the neck cards there is only one pin on the 4600.

Is it possible to use this tube in the 4600 considering it seems to have a pin missing in the center where there are two pins there seems to be only one and the other has silicone where the pin should be, perhaps I could use the neck board from the 4300?

The tube in the 4600 has white white guns, the one in the 4300 has blue blue guns, I have attached some pictures.

Any thoughts anyone.

The tubes should be identical, it`s the 4200 that is different and uses Sony tubes that aren`t compatible. Should be P19LCP tubes if I remember correctly.

Thats what I remember the discussion being about, I know some LCPS and HVPS on the 4300 were not switchable with the 4600 but some where but the tubes should be ok I hope.

Just in case, as I may just slot this tube in,

whats the worse case scenario here?!
