Hello from germany.

First of all sorry for my poor english Mr. Green

I have suddenly problems with my Marquee 9500. I cant exactly explain the issue, so i decided to take pictures of it. (its on all the three tubes) Its only when im using a HDMI to VGA adapter, like the HD Fury I or another one from amazon. And the problems are from device to device bigger or less. For example on my notebook there is no problem. HDMI and VGA. But all my other devices are making problems -.-.

Why ?? I tried 7-8 different HDMI cables, from short to long, from expensive to cheap.

Do somebody has an idea here ?

Hello

Are you referring to the large vertical bands in the image? Is that from a BluRay player? Try another BR machine if possible.

If the projector test patterns look good then you likely have issues with the source hardware.

No, the vertical bands are from the camera. I meant the horizontal issues in the picture. I tried 5 different sources Sad
Yes the patterns looks good.
Only when im using my laptop as a source there are no issues...

Hello

Could we see a full white pattern with the problem visible? Looks like bunching and spreading of scan lines and that can only happen in convergence, suggesting a control board or convergence amp issue.

A full reset of the control board with a fresh setup may be worth trying.

Here are 3 pics. One with the white pattern. I only were able to catch it with the camera on the tube itself.

The horizontal waves are moving over the whole picture.

Hello

If the problem moves around the image then your horizontal deflection board or deflection processor boards are suspect. Do you have any spares?

You might try pulling U7 from the DPB and re-seating it in its socket, the pins can tarnish over time.

But why is there no issue in the picture when im using my laptop ?

Is the voltage of the HDMI not enough of the other devices ?

Unknown. Some problems only show up at certain scan rates

Finaly i found the problem ^^

After almost 2 years. xD

It was my satelite receiver ! It caused problems in my electricity. (in the whole apartment)

And u could only see it with the projector, not TV. I think cause its not analog. And now its clear why i had no problems when i used my laptop. (battery power)

Interferences ?

Hello

Have your satellite tech confirm that the system is properly grounded, usually to a water pipe for best results.

Cable and Satelte often cause grounding issues. Either they are a better ground than the AC mains ground or in the case of satelite, some times no ground at all.

This causes ground loops and sometimes AC voltage flowing down the wrong cables.

The satelite dish is not grounded (installed on a wall, not roof)

I will buy a complete new satelite system and hope i have no problems anymore with a newer/better one.
