Yep, I have the KD-34XBR970, version after it, and last direct view CRT ever produced by sony for the consumer division. It doesn't have the SFP picture tube that the 960 does, but it still has one hell of a picture after 10 years!!

I grabbed the Samsung version of this set from the recycler 3 years ago. Had it rained on, dried it out, and it fired right up. 150 lbs of goodness sitting in my bedroom, usurped by a Vizio 50" LED.
Still, I'm keeping it as it looks good.
