Hi,
my name is Gerald Paul. With the beginning of this month i am using chromapure standard with an irite display 3 oem.
After a few evenings of measuring and trying to understand the chromapure workflow i have a few questions.
As Manuual for measuring is in use Chromapure grayscale and color calibration for Dummies.
Chapter 2.2.2.11
First Time White Balance Modul, 100% White Pattern is in use, but in picture above in the manual settings in White Blance Modul show 80%. Has it be set manually at 100% or leave it as declared on 80% and if yes why should it be on 80%?
After Calibrate my Front Projector with gamma settings too i switched back to White Balance Modul to control and setup the 2 Point grayscale with 80% and 20% test Pattern. All was fine, the Delta E differences were below 2. After that i setup the colors with CMS modul of my Epson and Chromapure. Then the final procedure follows the Post Calibration Grayscale Measuring and here the measurings 10 - 30 IRE were far from good, 5 - 6 Delta e Values. I dont understand that than measuring again in White Balance Modul for 20 IRE shows again an Delta E Value under 2.
What is wrong?

The 80% in the picture doesn't matter. It's the pattern that you display that matters. The 0-100% range you can select is for reporting purposes (if you want to report the results).

I would contact Tom at support@chromapure.com and send him your complete results as an attachment - without the results it's impossible to help. Tom is best positioned to assist.
