So I have had my re-capped 10PG running solid for about two years now. I am currently running it at 1080i but would like to push 1080p to the PJ. This worked fine with my Rock Pro (1080p output) with sources other than my cable box (1080i) and PS3 (1080i). My problem with the PS3 playback is at 1080p there is excessive ringing on both sides. I thinking with a scaler I might be able to get control of the porch setting and get the 1080p video output I am looking for. I am feeding the pj with a HDFury2.

Any thoughts?

Whatever you do, add a fan to DEF board if you plan to use it permanently at 1080P, a little more heatsink for the C-drive and F-drive boards would not make harm either.

Fan noted and I will definitely add one if a scaled will help fix my problem. I'll take a look at the heat sinks and see what's needed there. I don't want to ruin my hard work in pursuit of video bliss.
