I removed the c-element as described in the advanced procedures and it seems it is not damaged pffff. But now I need to use some glue to seal a new c-element. What is this glue called in Europe? Siliconen kit? Bison kit?

Don't use any! What housing do you want to put it into? If a MArquee, E'home sealed many of them, but if the bellows are in good shape, or you have new ones, you don't need the silicone. It makes removal of the C element so much easier in the future!

You might need to cut a spacer to put betwen the C element and the ring who holds it in place to make a bit more pressure on the below, i have seen leaks around the element as they were simply loos.

Ok thanks that saves a run to the shop Very Happy The rubber of the bellow is not completely flat but it came loose in a normal manner so I try if they leak after replacing. It is a Marquee housing by the way.

The bellow still has the edges but there is a little glue left. I think it will seal. I will test it after.

The glycol seemed very clear still. I think I'll reuse it unless it would make a visible difference to replace clear looking glycol?
It still has to be filtered.

Clean that chamber and below untill your sure there is not even a tiny hint of fungus or dirt left, even the fill holes, and use new glycol now your working on it.

Might be a good idea to test it with water, not from the tap, but clean water, and see if it leaks around the C element, before you play with glycole.

Ok I have got the new screws with washers from Curt. There was a lot of stuff in the glycol probable from the washers I understand. The bellow sweats a little so I have to replace the bellow one day too but for now only the glycol.

Glycol question someone said he used propyleenglycol. I wonder if this food grade would be pure enough?

Or else I buy ethyleen glycol.

http://www.dierapotheek.com/propyleenglycol-1-liter-1104

And glycerine off cause.

It seems the breaking index is changed by the 20/80 or 30/70 relation. Pure on the stories I read I would try 30/70 for best breaking index?
