What model? If you post such vague threads, no one is going to have any idea what you want.

TV/Projector: Marquee 9501LC / NEC 9PG+

If you are talking the equivalent of a Marquee 8500 or 9500 series, then I'd say yes. Way easier to setup than your NEC. Would need to know what model you are talking about. If you are talking a 9500 series "Marquee" with LC tubes, oh yeah. If you are talking Vidikron Vision 1 with the sleek black case, even better. Looks like the love child of a baby grand piano and Ferrari hanging from the roof. lol

Just look at the specs: URL there are 14 ES models (most of them video only) and 3 based on the marquee, some of the ES sets even have the pininfarina case, so no, without knowing the model number it really could be anything.

I own both and Marquee leads you through. It's really easy. For a newbie the Nec's are a steep learning curve. I prefer the control you have on an NEC, but for ease the Marquee is king.

The Barco has a guided setup too. Tells you everything...

The thing is, so do all the NECs, i call it the setup and installation manual, also tells you everything in detail with pictures... Its really so simple to follow i dont see why people have any issues, since its not exactly hard to obtain one. If you read the instructions, there is nothing steep about the lerning curve at all, it couldnt be easier.

Oh and Case sticking your hand in the machine to move the magnets around was pretty nerve wracking the first time too. Don't think twice about it now, but to start with it wasn't that easy to do. I still find the Marquee way easier to setup. They'd have to look, but chances are the Marquees would be a few years newer than the NEC's available.

Possibly, but we don't know if it is a Marquee anyway!! Laughing He says its a Vidikron, there's hundreds of different models they made.

You still have to stick your hand in to move the magnets on a Marquee do you not? Nothing is any different there on any of them other than the G70 and G90 as far as im aware.
