I just installed a new Radiance Mini and observed this bizarre blue channel behavior. If I pull up an internal test pattern or one from the DVE disc there is this bleed through from behind. I'm assuming this is something in the digital domain but realy have no idea.

Anyone ever seen this before?

That is digital noise most likely from the Lumagen.

What are your video timings on this MINI? What firmware are you using?

As an experiment, you could try the last firmware before the 125-point CMS. The 125-point CMS implementation drives the FPGA a lot harder than the older versions and you could see how the MINI responds to that. Also, just a different firmware with a different FPGA may solve the problem.

Does this behavior start on a cold power up, or does the Radiance need to get hot first?

Could also be your HDMI cable or Moome card.

I'll double check the firmware tomorrow. Per Jim It's the very latest batch of mini's. I'm running 1080p/72 (2450 htot, 1134 vtot). The hdmi cable is blue jeans finest and the problem first appeared when it had been running for 4 hours but then also appeared the following day when it was cold.

Tonight i turned it on and it was fine. I also changed the color space to 4:2:2 on the output. My theater is about 65-deg F but I'm going to install a small fan to provide additional cooling. I was going to run sans case but jim didn't think that would matter with latest heatsink.
