I have a RCA to s video cable to simply hook up my Xbox 360's video cable to watch movies. It seems to not be working. It's producing flickering lines and no image on my Sony VPH1001Q projector. Do i need a converter box? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Where did you get the RCA to S video cable? Do you have another to try?

Ah yes maybe it is the cable. It is a 4 pin adapter that I've had for awhile not sure of the brand. I'll try another and get back. Thanks!

Those adapters may not work on the projector. I have had issues with some sets. Why not just run into the BNC input that's made for composite video? you're gaining nothing from using the Svideo input.
