On an 808 the MOOME V2 would be plenty, you probably wont be doing 3D with it.

Better solution is around 10 dollar hdmi splitter from ebay to get "clean" digital signal to Lumagen hdp or similar cheap used scaler. Then use analog out from scaler.
With scaler you get also custom timings (almost mandatory IMO) and can use some better refresh than 60Hz.
1080i96Hz timings works great with 808.

Update:
Something I just remembered,
My 808s DOES have the piggy-back card on one of the boards
Will this do the job?
I also have the equivalent of a Lumigen processor as well as a receiver that has HDMI video in.

Despite what others say here (although all info is good info), I'd get the external box from Moome. Reliable, never had an issue with one, etc.
Second best would be a Fury, although the signal processing isn't as good.
You can try one of the cheapie HDMI converters on eBay, but you never know if they are going to work.

I tried to find a Moome on ebay, and got nowhere.
Ditto for Amazon.
Anyone have one to sell?

Something like this?
I'm using an iScan Pro as my doubler.
