I installed a Moome card in my VIM and the manual says it should sync. I thought it should be on 01 or 02, but all I get is "No VSync".

Guess it's not plug and play, or I'm doing something wrong...

I've got an HD DVD player plugged in and the Moome card shows link...

Anyone know what simple thing I Might be doing wrong?

Hello

Start by pressing "Source, 0, 2" on the projector remote, ramp the contrast up to around 45, and see if that works

Thanks for the reply!

I ended up connecting a regular Sony Blu Ray player instead of the HD DVD player, no go.

I then, just for kicks, hooked up a Playstation and I got a picture.

Am I to assume that somehow the other two devices are incompatible???

That'd be a pretty significant problem. I don't see any other adjustments in the manual.

is there a secret?

If the other players have been used with a 1080p compatible tv then you would have to change it to 720p or 1080I for it to work

The ps3(and ps4) auto detects and will work out the best resolution for the display device where the others are manual setup only

Ok, I'll try that... thought it could do 1080p... (kinda says that on it...)

I suppose when I add the scaler (DVDO Duo) I cam pick a progressive frequency that works?

I thought the PS3 was runningat 24 fps... guess I'll need to check.

I'll try resetting the output of the HD DVD player tonight and see what works.

New territory for me and the projector. Last time I used one of these all we had was RGBHV, with Component being the newest thing!

I only run 1080i at the most I avoid 1080p due to my marquee getting fussy trying to sync

I now run 720p on everything (even my dwin)

Alright. I ended up feeding in a true 24p signal and yeap, no sync. Got it!

I took out my scaler and selected 1080p 60 and that works just dandy...

Thanks for the help!!!

(You guys are great!)
