Having successfully retubed my Barco 1209s and not killed either myself or the tubes, I'm looking to do a colour calibration of the set.

I have an i1 Display meter and have been trying to work my way through kal's excellent guide elsewhere. Ive stumbled at the first hurdle though in that I can't get the colour HCFR software to recognise my meter. I definitely have the onedisplay DLL and the colourHCFR exe file in the same directly. I believe the meter is supported and it works OK with its own software.

Am i missing something else?

Any help gratefully received please!

Cheers,

Paul

P.s. I have posted on the calibration forum...... It doesn't seem to be used much though......

How new are the tubes? You my need to run them a couple hundred hours first before calibrating.

Thanks for the reply..... the tubes have a hundred or so hours on them according to the vendor I bought them from. They have no discernible wear that I can see either.

I've solved the driver issue in HCFR. Now I need to ascertain whether I can trust the meter! I've been practising on my laptop and desktop and it returns very different and seemingly plausible results...... but is it accurate? ????
