Hello Everyone,

I have been slowly building an AMX control system to control all of the bits of AV HT equipment that i have. Sometime last year someone I know gave me globs of AMX hardware, 5 touch panels, 3 Netlinx Processors, 2 Axcess processors, rf/ir remotes, receivers and just LOTS of stuff. The hardware i am using are 2 touch panels, and a Netlinx NL-3000 with FW2.31.141. I have got control working to 5 IR devices, and 3 serial devices(Zeneth 1200x, and Onkyo receiver, and Extron Matrix Switcher). I have all of the touch panels working, however i cannot figure out how to get the AMX keypad to work.

The keypad in question is an older ICSNet PLK-MSP8 (http://www.amx.com/products/PLK-MSP8.asp) I can connect it to the Netlinx, and it will see it and show that i has FW 5.0, i can adjust the ID and the Netlinx status light flashes for each button press. What i can't figure out is how to get the netlinx to respond to it, Events don't appear to come through as channels like the touch panels. I figure i would post here and see if anyone has dealt with these keypads with an NL controller, or maybe someone here is an AMX programmer that could point me in the direction i need to go. I haven't found any documentation on how to use the keypad, but there might be a module i have to use to program the keypad.

Any suggestions, or direction pointing would be greatly appreciated.

Brad

The PLK-MSP8 is a native Phast device. You will need a device module to control it. PM if you do not have access to the InConcert device section.
