The red tube on my old 1272 has a weird problem... the upper corners are permanently flared up like some extreme pin adjustment had been made, and it doesn't respond to most of the convergence adjustments at all. The Size and Lin adjustments and some of the zone adjustments for the lower part of the screen still work, but no matter how I adjust the pin/skew/key/bow, the upper parts of the screen and one of the lower corners seem permanently stuck. Does this sound like some kind of permanent magnetization problem or might the neck board for the red tube be shot? At this point I'm looking at maybe just going digital.

Convergence board is the likely fault.
