I have a friend asking about Barco CRTs that have some type of dial or knob adjustment on them. Probably for schiemflug. The numbers are:

R7635722K
R7635725K
R7635726K

It seems that they cut the old tubes from the housings to replace and forgot to note the orientation so the new ones could be installed correctly. Any help on this much appreciated.

Scott

Those are spare LUG's for BR909.
Not sure about the orientation but unless the housings are for 90° configuration ( vertical split pack ), they can't be wrong mounted. Scheimpflug adj. up.

Scott, with the spring thing Scheimpflug adjustments facing upwards, the opening of the LC housing facing you, the anode lead of the tube needs to face right. If it faces left, the tube will be rotated 180 degrees, and you can't fit the video amp/CRT socket on it.

Hulio is incorrect, you can mount the tube the wrong way around.

Do ask the customer if they are tube housings for 919 sets, which rotate the tube metal frame 90 degrees from the front. I've got some 919 sets here, and can take a pix of the housing.

Also make sure the plastic spacers are in front of the tube between the tube and the housing.

Curt,

Thank you much. That is exactly what I was looking for. That is a kind offer to take some pics of the housing. If not too much trouble that would be nice. I owe you one. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Merry Christmas to you and all the forum members!
