New to me dwin from curt got the set as a backup and while trying it out I can't get it to lock to a signal

Is there something I am missing or is there something else I need in the video chain to get my video equipment to work with the dwin??

I plan on maybe ceiling mounting it once I figure out why I can't get it to lock on a source

Negative sync for the 700 only, you may need an Extron 202xi or 203, and you need to do a signal entry before you can unlock the convergence settings, but you should see an image regardless whether the memory location is set or not.

Which one is a better choice?

Not going to mess with it till I can feed it a signal as I don't want to screw up a setting

I knew it is negative sync but why won't it sync to a computer??

Curt is it possible I can run HD signals through a dwin trans scanner?

I looked into one and it has the sd inputs along with rgb looks like it would be a good choice but want to be sure

No, only a TS2 will accept a 1080i component signal and convert it to RGBHV. Get that Extron 203:

Ah thanks for clearing that up

Just wondered if it would work now to get extron 203 Smile

Any tips on mounting the trailing mount so I don't have to worry about it coming loose?

I plan on making a hoist using four pulleys and cable to lift it up and down from the mount easier so I can have for on the to showings

Curt I looked at the eBay link you provided I hope it stays cheap if it does I am all over it

I wonder would a transcanner work for the non HD stuff I have like my older game systems??

I do have the decoder card in my marquee for non HD/rgb stuff(really would like to get a switcher though)
