Hi,
i want to connect the BG808 to the RCU800 directly with a wire. In the manual Barco wrote that the socket in the CRT and remote is 3.5mm. On the CRT it is 3.5mm, but on the remote it is only 2.5mm.
Is this the wrong remote for the CRT?
I dont want to destroy something, so i dint connect it right know, but the adapter cable is still soldered.
For testing if there is an output on the 2.5mm socket of the remote i connect an osziloskope to this output. But nothing happens, no signal at all. Is the remote defective? Or is it maybe an open-collector output?
Here are 2 pictures of the remote attached, maybe you can see if this is the right remote.

That doesn't look like the right RCU. That looks like a RCU from 800. Do you have a picture of the front.

I don't know if it is the original remote for the 808. The internal remote doesn't look like this remote. But remote works, thats why i thought it must be the right one.
See the picture below.
Do i need another remote for direct wiring?

That's definitely from an 800. To my knowledge the same remote will work for 800 and 808 but I am not sure if there are any electrical differences.
