TV/Projector: 9500LC Ultra

Looked all over...

What is the optimal placement of a 9500LC with reference to the top of the screen (ceiling mount)?

Any FAQs on vertical placement? Do lens types make any difference?

if you can live with it closer to the center of the screen and it won't get in the way that is the BEST placement. You'll need less Keystone and convergence and linearity will be easier to get perfect with less strain on electronics. but if the lenses are even or a little below it will work fine also. with a proper mount you can adjust to taste.

Thanks!

I can see from the raster burn on green on the 9500LC I'm re-bellowing that having it above the screen (by about 8 inches) really makes for a pretty significant keystone. That, in turn, doesn't let you use as much of the tube face, because you need to keep the larger portion of the keystone on the face.

I have to say, it was nice to have the projector up and out of the way, though... and if I want to re-use the tubes, I'll have to put the raster back in the old raster. I'm thinking I might put one 9500LC on the ceiling in relatively the same place that it was, and one on the floor, in some kind of a hush box/table thing.
