Was douing geometry today, thinking now i got both my Marquee and JVC X7 setup on the same screen, why not do the geometry on the CRT using the JVC as reference.

Now im running them as a stack.. Damn thats a nice motion flow.. JVC 1080P 24hz, and Marquee 1080P 72hz.

On top of that it looks sharper than CRT, and not as artificial as the JVC.

I put the iris all down on the JVC, and lowered contrast on the Marquee.

Its nothing permanent. But fun to see what happens.

And it actually makes the Digital look better, and removes some of the errors in the CRT.. no visible ringing, and no banding anymore.

Its just my way of spending some time while i wait for other MP boards to test.

I find it hard to look a hole movie on the JVC, and boring to look one on the standard Marquee.

I fail to understand how this fixes banding.
