I had my 1272 running for the first time in a year. It sat and idled with no signal for 2 hours. Then I shut it down, moved it three feet and it was dead. What size/type fuse do I need and where did SONY hide it?

Dunno, I've never had to replace one. you know that some of the 1272s had issues if you powered down and up really quickly, right? the set went dead, and it wasn't the fuse. I tried long ago to diagnose it, but stopped after a couple of hours. Not worth it. I do have one last working 1272 LVPS if you want it.

Nope. I didn't know about it either until I read it years ago at avs. It's something in the startup circuit, not easy to fix.

Are the other 125x/127x projectors affected by this as well?
