So I go strip that 8500 Ultra that he bought for $75 on eBay. Jan 2008 build date, very clean tubes that I couldn't take with me due to no wrenches, and neck boards that are absolutely the latest type, and silver LVPS and HVPS, not the brass colored ones that we're used to.
Massive damage to the VIM, it snapped in half due to some impact, but still.
YOU SUCK!

You suck
I have two marquees a 8 and a 9 inch and would rather have both sets with 9inch tubes If I keep both intact and running
Sucks as the 9500 chassis has the mike Parker mods and I end up with a bad neck board doh
Still have to put the beast back together if curt would hurry or have stopped by and looked at it I would I have the beast back together vs in peaces in my theater room floor
Btw the 9 inch tubes are mint though I think the red and blue is bad as I have to have the g2 and drive settings higher then factory(no clue) on them

Best part of this is the new TSE designed VNB's!!!!

| TSE wrote: | You know, it would be alot of fun to design stuff for home theater use but VDC makes its money from the simulator industry. So almost all of the new stuff is little use to most people here. Giant, powerful convergence amps, a monochrome projector that makes a picture about a foot square for head up display (HUD) of fighter plane instruments, a vertical deflection bd with crazy linearity controls for curved off axis screens. Alot of stuff for curved screens.
But, along the way we used up all of the Motorola transistors that are used on the neck card and had to design a new one. Since the decline of the CRT monitor industry video transistor selection has dried up. I am happy to say that the new card is equivalent to the old one with bandwidth good enough for QXGA (pixel clock=240MHz). The design is very similar to the old one, it really cant be much different. It has been in production for at least a year, I'm surprised that no one has got their hands on one and asked about it in the forums.

Ya know, the sad thing is, I had to cut my trip short due to a family emergency, and I'll be taking these parts back to Vancouver with me.
Sorry Nash!

let it be known that I am my own family of one. If I ever post about a 'family emergency', it's a joke!

Curt,
I'd like to submit a formal request:
Please change the subject of this thread!!!
"NASH SUCKS" is completely misleading and offensive.
The usage of the word "SUCK" cannot be tolerated in this context.
This inappropiate usage of terms may cause serious misunderstanding and anger.
Please change the subject to: "NASH ....
hmm....
one moment....
Damn!
Hell, I can't find a multiplied, exponentiated superlative of "SUCKS"!!!
