Mine has been stable for quite awhile now. Do you have an HR34 or HR44?

have tried both the 34 and 44, the 44 got to hot so currently we are on a 34. Every day or so the system locks up and the genie has to be rebooted so the clients will work. DIrecTV is trying to say that it's the non 3ghz connectors

The DirecTV tech said the workaround was to leave the HR44 on all the time, either that or replace the clients with regular STBs Sad

The workaround I found that works is to leave the Geni server on all the time. I use harmony ultimate remotes and a little programming change and all my affected customers are happy.
