I think I have a spare or two, the ones from the main chassis anyway. If you think the middle one is dead, that's normal, it doesn't kick in until the set reaches operating temperature.

Yes factory originals.
I don't wanna replace the fans with others.
If i remember correct the Cine9 could shut down because of a fan issue ?!
So i wanna try three new fans on the back.

Eisman has a modification so that you can run with other fans. I'd contact him for details if you want to do that.

The one on the right is the original. The one on the left is the replacement. It was believed that there was a batch of defective, or did not work so well in the 909 lot of fans. It was a problem on a certain batch of 909's only.
DO NOT try and modify the fan circuit, or go with any other fan than the two shown. We've tried a bunch of them during that fan failure period, to only arrive at the one on the left making the fan problem go away completely. The fan circuit is on the LVPS and its not be be played with. two of the fans are temperature controlled with one of them being only for the horizontal deflection circuit and that circuit controls that one fan that cools it. So the fans are not all on the same circuit, and they are not all operating at the same time (if my memory serves me right).

What is the best way to exchange the NMB fans?
You have to dismantle the rear of the Cine9 to put hands on or is there another way like just taking the boards out and take a screwdriver?
In other words i need tips for best practice.
Any help welcome

Mike,
you just have to pull the two fan wires out of the connector?
